Research Interests

Currently the team lead for the translational research team at University Health Network. Our work is centred around connecting biomarker data to clinical outcomes. Prior to joining UHN I was at the University of Otago researching statistical methods in respondent-driven sampling, a method of surveying from difficult to reach, often marginalised populations. For many years before joining academia I was an independent statistical consultant with a focus on paediatric research and in particular modelling longitudinal outcomes using non-linear mixed effects modelling and developing outcome measures using item response theory (Rasch analysis).
